Project Arberobu-Shgreini_6
public and I get great pleasure the letter that Laura (GMA - Group Missions Asmara) addressed to Runners without Borders. Dear Laura Thanks !..." Philip
how are you? We have received your payment of 01.16.2008, thank you for your efforts to raise awareness on water in Eritrea.
funds you have submitted will be used to cover the costs of rehabilitation of dam-Arberobu Shgreini.
How has the road racing? Can involve a bit 'of people?
I attach a CD with some photos of the people of the village, work in progress and a panoramic view of the dam settled.
The villagers are very happy with what has been done until now, the next step will be a fountain for drinking water dstribuzione.
people so far imported water from Asmara with a tank, and then poured in the one tank that is in the village of Arberobu, but is not connected to any source, so the shortage of Water has always been a problem. The alternative was to go to a source at the foot of the valley where flows a few drops of water in the early hours of the morning.
Now that the dam is rehabilitated, the water is no longer infected, and can also be used for human use.
soon as we have a technical report from our local office will send on the activities undertaken,
a warm greeting to all members of Runners without Borders
