Sunday was held the third edition of "BellunoFeltreRun", the fourth and final stage of the circuit "Waiting Marathon2010 Treviso. Third Edition which differs from previous ones since the path length is shortened from 31 to 30km (my Garmin after the race will mark 30.10 km).
The race course on the nervous and full of ups and downs (although in general is more downhill, uphill) is the prologue of what will happen ta 2 weeks on the streets that lead to the center of Vittorio Veneto in Treviso, as in the aspect of the organization and the presence of the public along the route of the similarity of the brand with the marathon is definitely apparent. The weather has also helped the 700 runners in the competitive, because, despite the miserable weather of the day before, have not seen a drop of water; But the only flaw is its proximity to the marathon, which is why I decided to run the race like a training session in order not to tire the legs too. The only goal of the day is, therefore, to maintain second place in the overall category of the circuit and then trying not to feel that I replace the 6min ahead of the third.
At 10 o'clock is the start date and the first km I struggle to control the pace, the temptation to "compete" and push the leg is strong and the descent of the first km does not help to go slow, but at least I can run this time wisely and pull the handbrake on settling rates ranging between 4 'and 4'10 "at km, leaving me quietly extend from the" rival "of the last races.
